Have you noticed that, over the past five years, there has been an emerging pattern in the world of personal growth? An increasing number of women have been immersing themselves in personal development workshops, seminars and retreats, whilst the proportion of men getting involved has been falling rapidly. This is no coincidence. We are at the early phase of transition from a patriarchal society into a new way of being. Nope. It’s not into a matriarchy. However, it is a balance between the masculine and feminine energies that are often referred to as ‘divine masculine’ and ‘divine feminine’.

This weekend, I have the pleasure of sharing the stage with some exciting change-makers in human evolution at the Woman Magic Gathering at the Monastery in Manchester. We will be investigating the paths to creating unity within ourselves and humanity. I might be a bit naughty and throw some unexpected trinkets to shake things up a bit! So, feel free to join us on Sunday 23rd September in Manchester. Click here for full details.

Love and gratitude,

When a major institution representing the medical fraternity such as NICE (National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence) warns the public of something, it’s worth looking into. NICE are saying that overuse of painkiller lead to more headaches. 1-2% of people are affected by this according to UK research, but the World Health Organisation suggest a higher figure of 5%of people being affected. Manjit Matharu, a consultant neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, said there was a tipping point at 10 to 15 days of using pain relief each month when the drugs became the issue. In the report issued by NICE, they are recommending acupuncture as a possible treatment for headaches.

Headaches are symptoms of greater underlying causes, which are too frequently neglected in order to get a quick fix. Some of the most common causes of headaches include dehydration, lack of sleep, work-related stress, energy blockages and spiritual imbalance. In the coming weeks, I will touch on these causes separately. However, anybody can handle the most common cause easily. Don’t just drink water. Drink live, activated, clean water and drink it often. Drinking 2-3 litres of water a day is plenty for anybody. Water can be drunk directly or as herbal tea or in fruits such as water melons. Needless to say, coffee, cola, tea and caffeine-ridden drinks are a definite no-no for anybody who has headaches.

Love and gratitude,

It is said that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. In the third dimensional human journey, it is very easy to forget that everything is energy all the way down to the subatomic particles we are made of. Life throws its many challenges and different people react or respond according to their level of programming and how awake they are.

The majority of the beliefs that dictate a person’s characteristics and traits are programmed by the time a child is seven years of age. Beliefs (read ‘illusions’) are acquired from parents, teachers, religious institutions, the media as well as numerous other sources. Some of the beliefs are based on traumatic experiences that leave the child in a state of helplessness even into adulthood. Therefore, it is not surprising that such a person has a desire to gain control of their lives.

When a person seeks control, they are presupposing they have no control. Here’s the thing. You have control of nothing except for one thing – the vibration of your energy body. As like energy pulls in like energy, you will only attract into your life a similar energy. If you create the sense of having no control, you will create situations in your life where you have no control. This applies to all areas of life such as finding the ideal life partner, enjoying good finance, expansive career, etc.

The first common mistake that many make, including myself, is to think ANY thing can be controlled outside your own energetic vibration. Not true. Low vibrational frequencies manifests low vibrational experiences, which includes ‘stuff’. High vibrational frequencies manifest high vibrational experiences.

The second misunderstanding is the belief that the ego (primarily left-brain based desire and lust) chooses what to manifest. Again, not true. You will only manifest that which serves your highest good. Thus, if you manifest stuff you did not want, guess what? It was for your highest good and your best learning! So, be grateful!

Some of my most fabulous experiences came from the hardest lessons. I have allowed these lessons to redirect me back to my spiritual path, which means letting go of seeking control and stilling mind in order to interact with life as she throws me my next set of experiences. I know with certainty that joy, abundance and fulfilment lies within you. All you need to do is to allow yourself to vibrate at those frequencies. Then, watch it all unfold.

Love and gratitude,

Most people who know me tend to think that I am a healthy eater and look after overall health, which is all true. However, until recently, I had two major lifelong addictions – chocolates and cola. Even when I was working from a holistic centre for health, nobody could get me off either addiction.

This all changed literally overnight when I had a live blood analysis carried out by a professional. When she showed one of the major causes of my addiction to sugary stuff, I was stunned. I had parasites in my blood! But I can assure you now that it is not a rarity that parasites are found in blood.

So how did these minute critters get into my blood? They enter the human body through touch, food, or the skin. As mammals are great for offering food and shelter for parasites, humans are perfect hosts. They start absorb nutrients available and continuously multiply in such a way that they deprive the host of vital nutrients, especially from the blood. These parasites can freely move around in the human body and reside in various organs like the kidneys, pancreas, liver, brain, etc.

You’re probably wondering if you have parasites in your blood. Other than investing in a live blood analysis, you can get a generalised idea by looking at common symptoms. These include craving sweet food products, bloating after eating food, cramping and poor digestion after eating meals, foul breath, highly irritable when hungry, sinus problems in the mornings and constantly feeling tired. If you have one of these symptoms, it is likely you have parasites in your blood.

One of the best ways to eliminate parasites from your blood is to do a ‘parasite cleanse’. There are numerous companies that provide excellent detox programmes for removing parasite. Before you go running to the first product you can lay your hands on, do your research. My own research led me to discover that many of the products last for 30 days or so. Since parasites lay eggs that hatch 2-3 weeks afterwards, I opted for a 100 day cleanse. That way both the adult parasites and the next generation were eliminated.

I carry out one parasite cleanse a year to deal with any newcomers! Parasites have been on the planet for a very long time and so are very resilient. Although prevention is wise by ensuring you have good personal and food hygiene, parasites may still enter your body. Therefore, keep an eye out for the tell-tale signs so that you can deal with them quick and fast. In the meantime, you’ll hear more on natural parasitic cleanses on this blog in the future. Stay in touch!

Next time, I will share with you how I kicked a lifelong coke-habit!

In the past couple of years, I used to host movie nights when we would gather to watch a spiritual/transformational movie. It would be real nice to get that up and running again for friends who are interested in joining me. So, if you’re in London, watch this space!

The most prominent organ for eliminating food waste from the body are the bowels. During my days in working with endoscopic units in their product development I was astounded by how many diseases were caused by the food people eat. There were so many conditions associated with the digestive system, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Crohns Disease, diverticulitis, bowel cancer and much more.
The advice given to me by several specialists in detoxing was that there is very little point in trying to detox any other organ of the body without having cleansed the bowel first. If the liver, for example, is much more efficient due to a detox programme, the bowel may still be functioning at less than 100% efficiency. The large intestine is mainly responsible for storing waste, reclaiming water, maintaining the water balance, absorbing some vitamins, such as vitamin K, and providing a location for flora-aided fermentation by gut bacteria. Some of the common problems associated with a poorly functioning large intestine include:

  • Angiodysplasia of the colon
  • Appendicitis
  • Chronic functional abdominal pain
  • Colitis
  • Colorectal cancer
  • Constipation
  • Crohn’s disease
  • Diarrhea
  • Diverticulitis
  • Hirschsprung’s disease (aganglionosis)
  • Ileus
  • Intussusception
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Polyp (see also Colorectal polyp)
  • Pseudomembranous colitis
  • Ulcerative colitis and toxic megacolon

Poor colonic health leads to numerous other health conditions:

  1. Weight Gain
  2. Premature Aging
  3. Heart disease
  4. Diabetes
  5. Cancer
  6. Low Energy Levels
  7. Insomnia
  8. Sluggish Muscles
  9. Irritability, Anxiety and possibly Depression

The point of a bowel detox is to help with alleviating some of the most common ailments such as constipation and diarrhea in order for the large intestine to eliminate waste effectively and efficiently. There are several methods of detoxing the bowels, including colonic irrigation, using herbal dietary supplements, etc. Each person will respond differently to different methods. The most effective process for me was using epsom salts.

Preparation of Epsom Salt Solution

Epsom salts can be purchased from any local pharmacist. If they don’t have any in stock, they can certainly order them for you. (You can use the excess salt for future detox days and salt baths. More on this later.) Add two tablespoons of epsom salt to  1.5 cups of water and mix thoroughly. This will provide two portions of epsom salt solution.

Detox Day

It is important that you do not eat (fast) during the day of the detox. Make sure your last meal is taken on the night before. Also, you will need to have quick (I mean super quick!) and easy access to the toilet that day, especially between 12pm and 5pm. You may choose to take the day off work.

9am – Drink a cup of herbal tea. (Nettle tea, Dr Stuart’s Detox tea or other detox teas).

11am – Drink a cup of herbal tea.

12pm – Take one portion (3/4 cup) of epsom salt solution (i.e. drink half the epsom salt drink you made earlier).

2pm – Take the remaining epsom salt solution.

4pm – Drink a cup of herbal tea.

5.30-6pm – Drink a green juice or a light meal such as a salad or vegetarian dish.

Tips on Bathroom Visits

Expect to be visiting the bathroom numerous times throughout the day starting 10-20 minutes after you take the first cup of epsom salt solution. Throughout the day, the faeces will become increasingly more liquid. I’m sure you don’t need to be reminded to ensure maximum personal hygiene is made. If you feel like there is a built up of gas in your bowel, the chances are that it is fluid and not gas! So make sure you sit on the loo before you release!!! You won’t regret it.

Even after you have taken your herbal tea in the afternoon or after your meal, you may need to visit the bathroom a few more times. That is normal, too. Regarding meals, if you’ve come this far, then go all the way by keeping your meal healthy and energising. Avoid overworking your digestive system by eating junk food or meats on detox day.

How often to Detox

The epsom salt detox is rigorous and intensive. It is best to do this once every 4-6 weeks. In my case, this was my strategy was as follows:

  1. Month One: Detox once every ten days.
  2. Month Two: Detox twice (day 1 and day 15)
  3. Month Three: Detox once a month

I hope this gives you a much better understanding of the importance of the bowel detox and how I have been doing my detoxes. You’ll hear about other detoxes in future blogs.

I has just finished my breakfast, which was an omelette with toast and fresh papaya juice, in the glorious warmth of an early Balinese December morning in 2010. Kyle Vialli, one of my companions on this adventure, was mixing a concoction of fresh greens with some green powder mix. As he downed his drink, all I could think was ‘swamp juice’. It looked like the most horrid drink imaginable. My drink of choice was coke and my food of choice were spicy curries.

Three months later, after having my live blood analysed and a thorough health check, I was on the same juices as Kyle. Over a few months after then, my health has been better than it had been since I was a young child. The majority people, particularly with the Western mindset, have no clue about the plethora of poisons that enter their body through food alone. Over the course of the next few months, I will share the major lessons I have learnt in transforming my health. In the next blog, I will be talking about clearing the most important part of the anatomy for eliminating toxic waste from the foods we eat – the bowel!

Love and gratitude,

Welcome to my brand new blog where I will be sharing some of my incredible experiences and findings in my own journey of personal evolution.

Why ‘True Spiritual Gatherings’? I have spent much of my life travelling and discovering important lessons that have helped tremendously in my own growth. Since 1998, I have been either directing or being involved in events that have helped others to grow in their own paths. Since the autumn (fall) of 2007, I have been immersing myself in the world of science and spirituality. Oh, boy! Did I learn a lesson or two along the way?!!

Since the news of the impending change in consciousness around 2012 was revealed to me, the world has witnessed a sea-change in the way people work. A vast number of people are much more interested in spirituality (not religion, I hasten to add) and their own spiritual growth. Unlike the times of the great avatars of thousands of years ago, there is not one sole individual master teacher on the planet ‘saving mankind’.

Instead, humanity’s collective consciousness has excelled to such an extent that we have a great number of great teachers on the planet now. This also means that there are many more gatherings taking place across the planet that are helping people to spiritually evolve. I have created this blog for the purpose of sharing distinctions that I have made in helping me to discern between universal truths and non-truths about  the world of spirituality. I am a consummate learner of all matters that involve humanity and the Cosmos and I hope you can join me as we begin this quest of Self-discovery.
